Barking-Dagenham-Harold Hill Stage Festival is an established family-run dancing competition held in Romford, Essex, during the month of January each year.

The festival began in 1971 under the name 'Dagenham and Barking Stage Festival', and was held in the Ripple Hall, Barking. Since that time, the competition has gone from strength to strength and it's popularity continues to grow year on year. One thing that has kept the same is our family ethos, as the competition is still being run by the descendants of those who started it, into the second and third generation.

The competition is professionally adjudicated each year by fully trained examiners, who are part of the British Theatre Dance Association.
